00:15Rescue personnel have been searching underground over the past week for a 48-year-old Indian

00:19tourist who fell into the sinkhole on August 23.

00:23Reddy, who arrived with another official from the High Commission at about 3.50pm, spent

00:28about 10 minutes at the site.

00:30He was briefed by Dangwangi Deputy Police Chief Superintendent Nuzulan Mohamad Din on

00:37the operations.

00:38Earlier, personnel from the Department of Mineral and Geoscience of Malaysia arrived

00:43at the sinkhole site and were spotted using ground-penetrating radar equipment to scan

00:48the area.

00:49Thursday marked a week since Indian national Vijaya Lakshmi was swallowed into the sinkhole

00:55and she remains untraceable despite extensive efforts by the authorities.

01:00Rescuers have searched about seven kilometres of underground sewer lines which lead to the

01:04sewerage treatment plant in Pantai Dalam.
