00:21My pitch, it wasn't really a pitch song, but just my my song

00:25Writing career as like a strict songwriter was about a two-month

00:31time frame and

00:33Within those two months. I wrote Lucky and then very quickly

00:37It somehow went to you. Yeah, and it was a song that I love and I was like, oh, I'm gonna produce this

00:43But I hadn't gone that deep on my album yet, and I didn't just want to make the song to make a song

00:49I knew I wanted to make an album. I was kind of past the single stage

00:53And I think at that time you didn't want to be on it

00:57It was like a time in my career where I was like, I had like four songs out

01:02Fair. At the time. Yeah, I was like, I don't think that I can do this

01:06That's fair. I don't think that I can do it yet

01:09But I loved the song always. I was always like this is a banger. Yeah, it's a banger.

01:16But that was in 2019 and now we're in 2024

01:20Yeah, sometimes shit just takes a long time.

01:22So then you heard it and you're like, well, we gotta do something with this immediately.

01:26Yeah, I mean, I kind of plan to produce it and I'm really slow

01:30We have never worked together so you don't know this but like it takes me three to five years all the time

01:35I will hear a vocal. I'm like, oh, this is amazing. Give me five years

01:38You know, this is what like this happens

01:41Yeah, and I want things to make sense in context with with whatever else I'm doing in my career

01:45Sort of like when you didn't think it fit in that moment

01:51And then we met at the start of this year

01:56Yeah, and we like hit it off

01:58Yeah, we wanted to write a second verse because that didn't exist yet

02:06So we kind of met, listened to as much of the album as there was

02:10Because I wanted to make sure you have the idea of what you're putting your name on

02:14And then I feel like we really connected and then you decided you do want to be part of the song

02:19Honestly, in between those years, I've also had other singers sing it

02:24And a part of me was always like, do you know that meme where somebody's like crying?

02:30That was me because I knew how much better it is with Remy on it

02:35But Remy didn't want to be on it at that point

02:38So throughout the years, I could take my mask off once you said, yeah, let's do it

03:55And I didn't say anything, and I just went

03:57And I started playing it, and I looked at you, and you were just raging

04:07You realize, it's like, wait, this is my song

04:10And then I was like, I started, like, walking on the stage out of instinct

04:14And then you gave me a mic

04:22Now I'm starting to realize that we actually, in fact, we have
