00:05St Paul's Cathedral, are the latest addition to Banksy's series of spray-painted artworks.

00:11Seven separate examples of street art have popped up in as many days, all of them depicting

00:16animals.

00:18After monkeys, elephants, a goat, a panther, a wolf and a couple of pelicans popped up

00:25across the UK capital, people have been speculating on what message the artist might be hoping

00:30to convey with this growing urban menagerie.

00:34I think he's definitely making a comment about policing and I think what we've got at the

00:38moment in England is a real problem across all of these areas.

00:42I mean we just never really know because I don't think he ever really says.

00:45I think the stencils are, I mean that's advertising isn't it?

00:48So what do you think he's advertising?

00:50He's advertising a brand, him.

00:53Some have suggested the street artist is hoping to promote happiness and solidarity

00:58after the recent riots in the UK.

01:04While Banksy remains typically silent, his organisation, Pest Control Office, has said

01:10that these theories about deeper meanings are too elaborate and that the work is simply

01:14meant to raise a smile.
