Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has stated that his recent comments regarding the ringgit have been misunderstood.

Speaking to reporters after launching the Guidelines on the Management and Governance of Federal Statutory Bodies on Friday (Aug 9), Anwar clarified that his earlier remarks referred to the ringgit's status as the highest-performing currency in Asia.
