Robotnik and the Hard Boiled Heavies have retreated to their main fortress, known as the Titanic Monarch Zone. Sonic and Tails race in hot pursuit, determined to get past all the badniks and traps that the evil doctor has set up. Once reaching the interior, our heroes quickly have to navigate a series of chambers connected by the energy portals generated by the Phantom Ruby. With all four quadrant chambers cleared, the portal to Dr. Robotnik and the final confrontation is revealed...
