00:00So, in fantasy football, the panic set in because Christian McCaffrey is by far the

00:10number one overall pick for everybody's fantasy draft.

00:13And we get worried that he already has a calf strain.

00:16And we saw how much the Niners work him.

00:19How much is there to worry when the coach says they had no preseason, mispractice, like,

00:23is there a lot to worry about or is this just like, hey, we don't need him, we're not going

00:27to touch him during preseason?

00:28No, it's concerning.

00:30I mean, you know, Christian McCaffrey has had injury issues in his past when he was

00:34with Carolina.

00:35And he had, you know, little nagging injuries crop up throughout the year last year.

00:41So yeah, it's definitely something that was on my antenna.

00:44When you hear that he has a calf strain, I think he might add a calf strain last year

00:48as well.

00:49They have pretty good depth at running back when you consider Mitchell and Trey Mason

00:53and both those guys are are good players, but they're not Christian McCaffrey in terms

00:57of, you know, what he can do both in the running game and passing game and obviously being

01:01an engine for that offense.

01:02So, you know, it's smart for Shanahan to go ahead and sit him out, make sure he's fully

01:06healthy to start the year.

01:08But you do worry about that injury lingering and cropping back up once he starts to play

01:13regular season games.
