00:31by popular vote, with the majority of Venezuelans voting for the Venezuelan president for a
00:37new term for the year 2025-2031.
00:43So these are the hearings that are beginning for the different political parties that took
00:47part in the electoral process last July 28th.
00:52This is the first hearing being held for Manuel Rosa as they have the Supreme Court of Justice
01:01send a citation to all the former presidential candidates and the leaders of the different
01:08political parties that took part in the elections to bring and to offer declarations and present
01:16all the documentations that they have on the matter as the Supreme Court of Justice
01:25is carrying out all the process after President Nicolás Maduro last week filed an appeal
01:32of protection in the face of all the violent actions that are being led by the far-right
01:38opposition led by MarĂa Corina Machado and Edmundo González.
01:43They led all the different violent actions and riots trying to disregard and to bring
01:49about a change in government.
01:50A coup d'etat that has been described by the Venezuelan authorities as a cyber-fascist
01:55coup against the peace and tranquility of the Venezuelan people and against the constitution
02:02in violation of all laws.
02:04In this whole process we have seen statements by the, a statement issued by Edmundo González
02:10and MarĂa Corina Machado declaring Edmundo as president-elect of the elections.
02:22A statement that has been strongly condemned by the constitutional authorities.
02:27A statement that yesterday the Bolivarian National Forces in its totality, all its branches
02:40all the different heads of the defensive areas, they came out to support the constitutionally
02:46elected President Nicolás Maduro in the face of all these destabilizing actions that are
02:52being led by the Venezuelan far-right opposition in unison with its far-right allies from mainly
02:59the United States and other regions.
