00:06At first, I was a little shocked, for one, because I couldn't figure out how she got

00:10up there.

00:11All right, let's check out the morning and see if she's on the, well, here she is.

00:17Hi, girls.

00:18You just taking a little rest there?

00:20I was scared.

00:21I'm not going to act like I wasn't because you don't want her to fall off of that.

00:24Whoa, girls, she's so happy.

00:27She made it very clear that she knew what she was doing.

00:31I think she likes to be up high.

00:33She's at eye level with us, so we're, like, right in her face, and she's in ours.

00:38It was definitely a mystery at first.

00:40Girls, you have no idea how happy it makes me to see your happy tail.

00:45And one day, I was sitting in our living room, and I heard the bar stool move, and I just

00:51kind of slowly looked over, and she just kind of popped her front legs up and then pulled

00:56her back legs up, and there she was.

00:58And like a cat does, she just kind of circled and then sat down, and there she was.

01:14Why don't you lay down on your cooling mat, Coco?

01:18Well, Ollie likes it.

01:20We've got stone and tile flooring.

01:22We have beds.

01:23I have bought more dog beds than I care to mention.

01:26She would much prefer to be on the countertop.

01:28Is that so much fun?

01:31There's definitely some differences between Coco and her brother, Ollie.

01:36Coco is very active, very sassy.

01:41What's your problem?

01:45She talks to us.

01:46Ollie, what's she talking about?

01:49He's much lazier, like that traditional lazy big dog.

01:56It's not really an inconvenience for us because she only goes up there if the counter's cleared

02:03She's a pretty smart cookie.

02:05If I'm preparing food, she's not there.

02:08She's usually underfoot.

02:10Looks like this is something we're going to learn to live with, I guess.

02:17In between times that she's on the counter, I'm a big neat freak, so yes, the countertops

02:21get cleaned regularly.

02:23To have people reach out on social media and tell me how they make them happy, how they

02:28love seeing Coco on the counter, or how they love watching Ollie and Coco play in the backyard,

02:32they make me happy every day.

02:33But to be able to have them make other people happy and smile and maybe be a little bit

02:37of a light, it's pretty cool.
