00:00We had a great lead out again and a great work from Markus and Rasmus during the stage,

00:07so I'm very happy and pleased with the team performance.

00:10I think it will be too hard for me to defend the jersey, but we have Lekinsen, we have

00:13Magnus that can climb very well, also maybe Abrahamsen, so we will see how we can do tomorrow

00:20with these guys.

00:23There's no doubts, the big obstacle in this year's Arctic race sits at the end of stage

00:29three.

00:30The Jakobsbacken climb, never been visited before, but casting a shadow over the entire

00:36sunny race.

00:38The mares cut the bunting and we were off and underway.

00:42Would there be a break?

00:43Would they make it home?

00:45155 kilometres up ahead of the field, and indeed seven went up the road before they

00:52started to fracture early, leaving six to duke it out, including, of course, Johanik,

00:58the man who would be king of the mountains, wearing that amazing jersey belonging to him

01:05and the racing race about to reveal itself to us.

01:08They passed through plenty of tunnels on this day, but really it was the climb to the sky

01:13at the finale that was going to beguile.

01:17Time to take it on, time for that gap to be closed down and with 55 kilometres remaining,

01:23it was still a handsome lead.

01:26Slowly but surely, Uno-X gained control and Mark Tholgaard, the Norwegian champion, the

01:32engine of the destruction of our break.

01:37Who though would have the legs at the finale?

01:40Not Johanik, he was saving his for more mountains points on the final day.

02:25He went for it.

02:26He was in good company too, riding along Camillo Bono of Flanders-Beloise.

03:48Yesterday I got the bad news that my grandfather died and he was kind of the reason that I

03:57started cycling in the first place.

04:03It was no possibility to go home, so I wanted to give my everything today and I knew I was

04:09in good shape and I knew I had a small chance of winning.

04:14I was not riding alone today.

04:16I lost both my grandfathers in three months, so I hope they watch together to the race

04:21today.

04:26What an amazing day.

04:28What a fabulous winner as well.

04:31He brought it home.
