00:08Yeah, so this match is an interesting one because the U.S. dominated Germany and everybody else in

00:15their group in the first three matches that they played at the Olympics and then all of a sudden

00:20it ground to a halt against Japan. Japan sat back in that low block defensively and just frustrated

00:26the U.S. the whole time. They got the winning goal finally in extra time from Trinity Rodman,

00:32but it took a long time to get there and they didn't look great in the process. So now you

00:36come into this game going, which version of the U.S. are we going to get? Are we going to get

00:40the prolific team that dominated the group stage, scored a bunch of goals, or are we going to get

00:46the team that looked like they reverted back to all their troubles that they had back last summer

00:51in the Women's World Cup? So kind of difficult to know which team is going to come out and play.

00:56Now, I think you're going to probably get the good U.S. team that played well in the group stage.

01:02They beat Germany 4-1 in that group stage and they played really well against teams that tried

01:09to play with them, play at them. They struggle against teams that sit back defensively and

01:16frustrate them, which to be honest with you, many teams struggle against because that's the whole

01:21point of sitting back defensively is to prevent the other team from scoring and frustrate them.

01:27So sometimes it does have a good effect against the U.S. when you sit back defensively.

01:32Germany's not really that team. They're one of the best teams in Europe. They don't want to sit

01:37back defensively. They want to get up on the front foot and play the way they want to play.

01:42So I think the U.S. will have chances to score in this game.

01:46They've preached patience this whole tournament. I think they'll come out on top.
