White Suffolks dominated the interbreed competition at Sheepvention.

00:00It's great, it's very satisfying and topped off a great weekend in the individual breeds besides.

00:07Put a lot of time and effort into it and I just love coming to shows and exhibiting sheep and

00:15putting them up against other people's sheep, see where you sort of sit within the breed and

00:19in the industry. In the Indie breed it's a sort of a lottery sort of thing, it depends

00:23what sort of judges you get and what they're looking for and how they place each individual

00:28in their own judging. Yeah not all judges, when you get multiple judges they're all looking for

00:32different things so to come out on top, rewarding that they've all seen good things in our sheep,

00:37that they like to get them to where they got to. It's very overwhelming, the activity in

00:42the breed with the Corrie, it's very exciting as well. Corridales are a great breed because

00:47they're dual purpose, so you're looking at the carcass and the wool and they have to be very

00:52well balanced and they're just a very good animal to handle, they've got good nature

00:58and they've got lovely wool and getting the carcass on them is great,

01:02so at the end of the day you know it's stolen from the bank.
