01:31Meloni wants China to become a key player in helping to end Russia's ongoing war in

01:37Moscow's ally Beijing is accused by NATO of playing a decisive role in the Ukraine conflict.

01:44China, which did not condemn the invasion, says it is neutral in the conflict.

01:49It does not deliver weapons to Moscow, it however provides it with essential equipment

01:55Bilateral trade between Russia and China climbed to around $240 billion last year.

02:06Hungary has simplified its entry conditions for Russian visitors who no longer need to

02:13Earlier in July, Hungary quietly introduced a fast-track visa system for eight countries,

02:21The new policy simplifies visa restrictions for the visitors and enables them to move

02:26freely to other EU countries.

02:29The European People's Party has voiced their concern for the eased restrictions as they

02:33believe it could pose a risk to national security and create loopholes for espionage activities.

02:39The president of the party sent a letter to the European Council president calling for

02:43EU leaders to take appropriate countermeasures.

02:47The commission confirms they will clarify with Hungarian authorities that the scheme

02:50corresponds with EU regulations.

06:30Authorities say many others are feared trapped under the debris and that the death toll may
