We knew that they'd obviously play out from the back and make passes at the back,
00:04
which we wanted to be aggressive on how we turn them balls over.
00:08
We scored two goals from that, so pleased with that.
00:10
But I would have liked to have created probably a little bit more from open play than we did.
00:14
But listen, we're playing against Premier League opposition today, so we can't be too greedy.
00:19
That first goal from Heather Murphy was a stunner, wasn't it?
00:21
Oh, wow, what a finish. Yeah, what a finish.
00:24
You know, listen, he's got that in him.
00:25
He's a very, very talented footballer
00:31
and we're going to see some really good goals from him this season, I'm sure.
00:34
But yes, great finish.
00:35
I'm really pleased for him because he's worked extremely hard.
00:38
He's worked extremely hard this pre-season and not scored.
00:41
So, to see him back two today was really pleasing.
00:44
Obviously, last season you did a great job in building a new team and new signings.
00:47
Are you looking forward to that challenge to do it all over again with some new faces?
00:50
Of course, yes, why not?
00:51
Yes, it's what my job is.
00:54
It's my job to coach the team, to coach the individual,
00:58
to improve them as individuals
01:01
and to improve them collectively as a team.
01:04
It's going to take time to have an understanding
01:09
of how a League One game will look
01:13
and how we want to try and score goals and win games at that level.
01:19
It will take time.
01:20
But we're working very, very hard on the training ground for that to happen quickly.
