00:00Hello, I'm Malcolm, welcome to Ableton Box. This video is all about my 3D content, my

00:08new channel, my new 3D channel which is Ableton Box and it's on Sketchfab and I want to say

00:14welcome to Dailymotion. Now, I do do videos about all sorts of content, now all my content

00:21is free of charge, my animations are free of charge, everything that I'm doing is free

00:24of charge, I don't make really kind of low, low poly models, I don't make high poly models

00:31either, if you go in here, you can see the wireframe for it, so as you can see it's pretty

00:36low tech, so as you can see. Now of course, if you want to add like a nice little bevel

00:41around the edge to make it look nicer, of course you can do that, so I'm going to show

00:46you the model, so if you look here, you can see the triangles, it's 41.317 which is pretty

00:53low considering the model, so if you look here, now it's about as low as I can get it,

00:58I can't really get it much lower than that, so if it's in the game world, let's say you're

01:03about this far away from the character, which will look pretty awesome in the game, once

01:08you change the lighting and put the grass in here and put the trees in there, it looks

01:12like a completely different model, it really does, even though it's the same model. Don't

01:17forget most of this around here will have grass around it, so you're not really going

01:21to see anything really, you're just going to see the roundabout go over the roundabout.

01:25I'll show you the animation for the actual roundabout, if you go here, press play, this

01:30is Windows 3D viewer by the way, therefore Windows 10, so this is my 360 on the roundabout,

01:36obviously as you can see it's moving pretty slow, now you can speed the animation up and

01:40slow it down, so you can go pretty fast or pretty slow, so anyway, that's the animation

01:45for it, so it's available on Sketchpad, so if you want the link, go under the video and

01:50click on the download, so to download for the model, what you'll get, you won't get

01:55the name of the company, of course you won't, you'll get the roundabout, the animation and

01:59the character, now this is a default character, she's made in a software called MakeHuman,

02:06MakeHuman is for making human characters, well not human characters, it's for making

02:10mannequins, that's what it's for, so it looks like this, so the quality is pretty good,

02:15it really is, it depends how much time you want to spend on your model, you can customise

02:20your model in all different ways, shapes and sizes, ok, now, that's up to you if you want

02:26to use the software, as I said, all of this is made in MakeHuman, so I made it in MakeHuman

02:33and then I put it into Blender, I customised the face, I customised the body, the hands,

02:38the feet, I did change most of the things on it, I really did, as I said the clothing

02:42belongs to obviously the software itself, MakeHuman, but the clothing fits her pretty

02:47well, now it would fit her pretty well because she was made by that software, in that software,

02:54and what I like about the software, this is what I like about it, one, it makes your character

02:58look half decent, but you have the choice whether to keep the body or get rid of it,

03:04I was thinking, that's pretty great, so I was thinking, ok, can I have two models, one

03:09with a body, one without a body, just in case I need a body for some reason, I was thinking,

03:14yep, you can decide whether to have a body or not, now, with Emily, she goes from age

03:213 to age 120 in my game world, I haven't made the game yet, so I'm still working on it,

03:28so at the moment I've got a couple of different characters, so I've got Emma, Emily, Lindsay,

03:35I've got Ginger Dolly, so there's a few different ones being made, and if I'm not making the

03:42characters, I'm actually making the assets, so if I don't upload something for a couple

03:48of days, a couple of weeks, it's because I'm making quite a few assets, that's what I'm

03:52doing, but I'll keep you up to date as fast as I can, when I can, so anyway, if you're

03:57interested in downloading Emily, not Emily, I apologise, if you want to download Emma,

04:03this is Emma, now, if you, if, I'm not sending anybody anywhere, so I would like you to go

04:11to my other website, my website, which is part of Bumblebox, and look at her, when she's

04:1713, now at 13 years old, she's got a set of wings, the set of wings are from out of Windows

04:2310, out of the 3D Viewer, so if you go over here, and go to the 3D Viewer library, you'll

04:30see a set of wings in there, they're a set of wings from Microsoft, so the text on the

04:36wings, that text says, Digital Character Wings, which, I think the assets in Microsoft are

04:42great, I really do, and they download really, really fast, I think it's awesome, and all

04:49of the textures are all built into the model itself, I think that's great, that's perfect,

04:54I like the idea, ok, now to use like a specific format, like a glyph folder, something like

05:01that, you can just, you can basically open it in Windows, and you can open it in Blender,

05:06if you use Blender, so anyway, so if you go and look at her, which is, I think she's 12,

05:10she could be 14, but I think she's 12, and you'll see the wings on her, and then you'll

05:15see, get an idea of kind of how my game is going to kind of progress through the game,

05:20and Microsoft themselves, they have got inside here, it's a library, they've got a Green

05:26Reaper, which he looks pretty great, so, I am going to email Microsoft and ask them if

05:33I can actually use the actual Reaper in the game, because he looks great, so he does,

05:39so, you know, I can use him for a couple of jump scares, so, anyway, so whoever made the

05:44Green Reaper, you know, I'll give you two thumbs up for that, and he's great, so anyway,

05:49if you want the model, look under the video, and press download, I'll be uploading more
