00:58In Wigan a man is in hospital after his new car exploded with his wife and baby granddaughter
01:03inside. Dave Butler suffered 60% burns and will undergo an operation after the incident involving
01:11his Volvo in Atherton Road Hindley Green. Mr Butler's 19-month-old granddaughter is being
01:17treated separately at a children's hospital. And the weather it's dry and bright across
01:22the North West today with highs of 22 degrees.
