So the ambulatory unit, it is a unit that we can help reduce the times, waiting times for patients.

It's longer waiting, ED, obviously, but when you come to the ambulatory unit,

we try and make the time shorter for you.

And we also do same-day care, so patients come in, we sort them out,

and then away home to their own beds that night.

It has drastically cut down in A&E waiting times.

It has improved flow in A&E.

There's a four-and-a-half-hour turnaround time.

This includes initial assessment, diagnostics, senior review, and going home with a therapy plan.

It's an exciting new chapter for the cause by this unit.

It's forward planning and forward thinking.

We've repurposed the building, actually.

The unit itself, before I started, was a storeroom for this last 20 years,

and the unit we have virtually opened with zero budget.

And with significant impact already seen in the last two months of operation.

Overall, our unit has exceeded expectations.

We were initially projected to see 100 patients a month.

We have almost doubled that, and we hope to continue to grow and expand as time goes on.
