00:23should add that Marine Le Pen has came in very quickly to the room to great

00:28cheers of support from her party members and but to the press she had to answer

00:34questions about how disappointed she was and she said that she wasn't

00:38disappointed because the RN had managed to increase its number of MPs in the

00:45French Parliament according to these exit polls and but she was very much

00:48trying to see the bright side of things there asked repeatedly whether she would

00:53be president in 2027 she didn't answer directly but she insisted we will

00:58continue and she called this alliance of the center and the left she called it

01:04completely incoherent and predicted it would collapse very quickly so there was

01:09a certain amount of bitterness in her speech similar to the business we saw

01:13from Jordan Bardella and among the supporters here shock surprise

01:18disappointment and anger that they feel that the will of the French people

01:22according to them has been blocked by this alliance and they say that line

01:26simply can't hold. Ana Navarro-Pedro made a good point Catherine a moment ago and so did Pierre-Jérôme Anan talking about how they felt the

01:36national rally had the right or Jordan Bardella said they felt they were

01:39beaten by the system and actually with that that could actually bring out a

01:42momentum of I've got a victim mentality to which other people you know they can

01:47play on that do you get that sense within the room that could be a

01:50strategy absolutely I think that's already emerging as a strategy from

01:57what party leaders and from what people here in the room have been telling me

02:01they say they've been victims of the political system of the political elite

02:05so it plays right into their hands they say that no matter how much public

02:09support they have and they did have the votes of millions of French people that

02:13they are being beaten by parties coming together in behind closed doors and the

02:18corridors of power and making deals and they say that the French people won't

02:22put up with that so you can see this attack line that's going to be coming

02:25out it is already coming out but expect to hear a lot more of that
