00:00In Myanmar, if you download and save pornographic videos on your mobile phone, it is illegal.

00:03Even if it is your own naked photo, it is not allowed.

00:06It doesn't matter if you don't understand it. It's no use if you understand it.

00:08What's the point of understanding it?

00:09People's mobile phones, whether it is a common pornographic picture or video,

00:12or the content of producing and selling porn, are all illegal.

00:15Once found, you will be charged under Article 292a of the Criminal Code.

00:19The offender will face up to three years in prison,

00:21a fine of up to RMB10,000 or both.

00:23And this law also includes your own naked photo.

00:26Whether you are voluntary or agree to shoot,

00:28according to Article 247 and 248 of the Communications and Multimedia Act of 1998,

00:32if the police have a search warrant,

00:35they have the right to check the personal phone of the public.

00:37If the police are not charged, they can check your mobile phone without a search warrant.

00:41In May last year, a 26-year-old local young man

00:43was found to have 67 pornographic photos of others on his mobile phone

00:47and 55 pornographic videos.

00:48He was sentenced to a fine of RMB5,000.

00:50So those who put their naked photos on their mobile phones...
