Landywood primary school win an outdoor learning award.

00:00Hello, my name is Sarah and I'm better known as the Muddy Puddle Teacher and I'm here today
00:07with Anju Phua, who has been given an Outdoor Learning Excellence Award at Vanderbilt Primary.
00:13That's right, all this year we've been working with Sarah to train the staff, haven't we,
00:16and all the approaches that help take our lessons outdoors to really try and wow up
00:21the learning and make it more of a natural based curriculum.
00:24But not every school gets this award. We've worked with about 45 schools this year and
00:29this is the only school that's got this award, we allocate one a year. The school has just
00:33wowed us, it's amazing. The parent feedback that you've got, the impact it's had on the
00:38children who love to learn, really want to get outside and do their maths and English
00:42sessions and it's just given everybody a vibrancy to be at school and want to be here and want
00:48to learn. Thank you.
