Resident confronts car hoons on their street

A resident in Ballarat Central has filmed a tense confrontation with a group of car hoons on his own street in Victoria, as well as a neighbouring mum and child's response to the noise, fed up with a lack of action on the issue.

00:25this is what's happening I don't I don't get it this has been going on since my parents

00:37been living here for 70 years I might probably this has happened like nightly

00:40that's why I'm sick of it and we have to do what you know we dealt with the cops last

00:49night we deal with them every single week and this is a reoccurring thing yeah talk

00:53to the cops it happens every weekend we know the consequences we know what they do yeah

00:58they don't do anything that's why I'm videoing because the cops don't do anything about it we

01:06if you give me a place if you can tell me where we can go to do this safely I'll be

01:33happy to do it but I don't think it's safe there's a kid sleeping in a room right in

01:42there so a white house the kids sleeping in that room do you reckon it's safe if somebody

01:46comes around there and does a massive fishtail loses control and ends up in somebody's bedroom

01:50doesn't feel terribly safe so we should expect that people drive around and go so fast and

02:01out of control and that they might lose control and end up in my kid's bedroom and kill my

02:05kid because we live in a house that was for sale in a in a normal street in Ballarat oh
