00:00You know, if you're a fan of a team and they won a championship, it's super cool, but it

00:07is unique, isn't it?

00:10When the team, like when you were around before the team existed.

00:13So like you said, like you've, you know, you remember when they came into the league, that's

00:16how I felt about the Raptors, right?

00:19It was sort of a slow progression when the Raptors, it was year one.

00:23I wasn't even living in Toronto and I had a buddy that was working at a radio station

00:29and he called me and he goes, dude, he goes, I got a all expense pay trip to Toronto, court

00:35side seats, five star hotel and spending money.

00:40That was a contest winner.

00:42And it's unclaimed.

00:43He goes, if they don't show up by noon, they're yours.

00:47And I was like, oh yeah.

00:49And so I went right to the radio station.

00:52The train station was right there.

00:54I got on the train, next thing I know, it was like, you know, it wasn't their first

00:58ever game, but it was literally like their third game or something.

01:01It was actually, Cam was actually at the, uh, the sky dome at the Rogers center.

01:05It was this massive, like they had a small little court down there.

01:09Remember when I went all the way down to the bottom, remember to play the Milwaukee Bucks.

01:13And I was more of a player fan before that drew, you know what I'm saying?

01:17Cause yeah, I grew up in a city without an NBA team.

01:20So I was like, you know, I like, you know, I like Dr. J when I was a kid, I like magic

01:23Johnson or whatever.

01:24I was more of a player and you know, I liked the Knicks.

01:27I was betting on the Knicks a lot, uh, but, um, to see the Raptors then, you know, 25

01:33years, it took very similar.

01:34It took like 25, 24, the Raptors won in their 24th year to see them win the championship.

01:39I was like, wow.

01:40I remember them playing their first effing game and like totally sucking and being happy.

01:47They beat the bulls and Jordan on a Sunday once, like in the early days to like, to winning

01:52a championship.

01:54And I can remember the whole journey so I can, I know what you feel like as a Panther

01:58fan remembering, like, like you said, like going to the games and like.
