00:10it's for especially for you and I who don't get to play as much as we used to, we don't
00:15touch the clubs, we don't get to practice, but we go out and either have it or you don't.

00:37So yesterday, my son and I went and played quail hollow shut down right now because we're
00:41aerating and kind of ripping up the course, getting it back to summer conditions after
00:46the Wells Fargo.
00:47So we went and played this place, Carolina Golf Club.
00:49It's an old Donald Ross.
00:50I hate that.
00:51I just said, Oh, Don Ross, all Donald Ross golf courses are old.
00:55And it's wide open off the tee.
00:57Thank God.
00:58I've got this like two way miss.
01:00I can hit it literally a hundred yards right of a fairway and I can hit it a hundred yards
01:04left.
01:05So it's, it's very challenging for me to play right now.
01:08It's, you know, everybody sees me duffing and sculling chips, but my short game is actually
01:12pretty spot on at the moment because it has to be.
01:16And I was playing with my son.
01:17He's 15, just won the state championship a few weeks ago as a freshman in high school.
01:21Their team won.
01:22He was the low freshman in the state of North Carolina and I'm really proud of him.
01:26He's, he's killing it.
01:27And he's kept me very active playing golf.
01:31Cause I don't want him to beat me.
01:32He's he's beaten me twice already.
01:35And yesterday we had a killer match.
01:36He Eagles the first hole and is just thumping me.
01:40And it just brought out this inner competitor to where it didn't matter where I hit it off
01:44the tee.
01:45I was getting it in the hole.
01:46I only hit like five greens, maybe four fairways and I was just getting it up and down from
01:51everywhere.
01:52And he's looking at me like, he's like, I hate you.
01:54How are you doing this?
01:55As he's piping it down the middle of every fairway, hitting every green, lipping out
01:59for birdie.
02:00And I somehow keep tying him on holes, but I beat him yesterday.

02:08I'm a plus one and a half.
02:10And you know, I, it's been nice in the last couple, I would say in the last year, I finally
02:16gotten rid of the desire to go shoot 65 every time.
02:20And I'm just happy to play golf and, and, and content with whatever comes out.
02:25Sure.
02:26I still get mad, but, but I'm not breaking clubs or anything.
02:27I'm just happy to be competing, happy to be playing golf and, uh, like I love playing
02:32a match.
02:33Like I'm not going to go out and just play a four hour round of golf where I don't have
02:36something on the line.
02:37I want to beat you or I want to lose.
02:39And, and, and that's what gets me going.
