Frasco leads opening of PH's first gastronomy tourism forum

Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco leads the opening of the UN Tourism Regional Forum on Gastronomy for Asia and the Pacific in Cebu on June 26, 2024. With her were UN Tourism Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili and Basque Culinary Center (BCC) of Spain Director of Masters and Courses Idoia Calleja. Tourism Undersecretary Myra Paz Valderrosa-Abubakar talked about the importance of halal in gastronomy tourism while Binibining Tuburan 2024 Chain Lee Templo introduced coffee from Tuburan, Cebu's coffee capital. Vlogger Simon Javier encouraged the public to support local businesses, especially gastronomy tourism.
