00:00Climate change is actually a crisis of consumption.

00:03It's just that the common man is anyway not in a position to consume a lot.

00:08Given a chance, he would binge on consumption, no doubt about it.

00:12No doubt about it.

00:15But the ones who are actually in a position to consume today,

00:19they are the ones who are contributing in a big, big way.

00:23And they ought to be stopped in their tracks.

00:25There need to be regulations.

00:26There need to be taxes.

00:28And when they are stopped, that would also send the right message to the common population

00:34because they are the ones admired as role models.

00:37If they are stopped, not only are they stopped,

00:39they also need to be kind of publicly censored or reprimanded

00:43for the kind of irresponsible lifestyles they are not only living,

00:47but actively advertising to others.

00:50What they today do there, up there,

00:53becomes the aspiration of millions of peoples down here.
