00:00As a support for the celebration of Pride Month, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority opened their symbolic footbridge and crosswalk

00:07in front of their office in Barangay Ugong, Gentuyan in Pasig City.

00:11MMDA Chairman Atty. Romando Artes and Pasig City Loan District Representative Roman Romolo led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

00:19At the same time, Artes assured that there will be no discrimination in their office and their respect for the members of LGBTQIA+.

00:29Aside from this, the footbridge was built to prevent the public from accidents whenever they cross the road.

00:37Yes, we built this because we know that when our countrymen cross the road, it slows down the traffic.
