How do you keep cool during sunny days?

What are the best ways to stay cool when the temperature climbs? What are the best things to do when the sun is shining?

00:00Keeping cool, generally. I'd say why? I'm in black and I wish I hadn't chosen black because I am absolutely boiling.

00:07Drink plenty of water, always, but preferably hot water. I think it's the best thing to drink to cool you down.

00:13Have an ice cream or whatever, but don't overdo it.

00:16Keeping cool in the sun. Obviously we look for shade, so you've got a lot of beautiful trees.

00:21And what we often do is we try and cross to the side of the street that's got the shade.

00:26Normally if the weather is nice, I tend to come to Leeds City Centre and just go around.

00:32Yeah, probably do a bit of shopping and maybe cinema as well.

00:38Golden Acre Park's nice. It's always better when the weather's like this, obviously, you know what I mean?

00:42You can enjoy it and round is a nice little walk around lake up there as well.

00:47We have the umbrella if we go outside, so we use this to, you know, to let the sun shine.

00:53And maybe turn on the air conditioner is also a good idea, you know, to keep cool.
