We ask the people of Glasgow for their thoughts on Scotland’s performance at the Euros 2024

We take to Buchanan street to find out what people think on Scotlands Euro 2024 performance.

00:00Football? Oh, I'm least interested in the football.

00:09Did you see the football?

00:10Yes, of course I saw the football, yeah.

00:12What were your thoughts?

00:13Just usual Scotland, same old, same old. I think we were a bit lacklustre, do you know what I mean?

00:20Well, I didn't watch it actually, I mean I listened to the commentary and everything,

00:23but I didn't actually watch the game because as I say, my heart couldn't take it, you know.

00:28The thing is that throughout my student life, I've never done the football, I've never done the cricket.

00:36I don't agree with the tactics and stuff like that either, I feel like we didn't put our strengths with the players that we've got.

00:42Didn't agree with the starting line-up either, but it was just the effort, that was the worst part about it.

00:47I'm disappointed, but you know what, Scotland, it doesn't matter, does it? We participate and that's it, end of.

00:54They lost the match, so for which I'm really feeling very sorry, you know.

01:02But do you know what, I feel like if we're honest, Scotland, we were only there for the party anyway, weren't we?

01:06So, yeah, that's about it.

01:08Were you surprised at the result?

01:10Erm, no really, actually, no, no really. There's always the hope, but at the end of the day, goch well, whatever.

01:20But that is, you know, to feel sorry about your area, what happened, you know.

01:27Were you surprised then?

01:29Nah, not really. I'm 37, I've been following Scotland all my life and it's just the same old story, you know.

01:35It's the hope that kills you.

01:37Fair enough. Did you see all the people with their flags out and everything?

01:42I've seen all that on television, aye, I've seen that, and online as well, because somebody was posting it on Facebook.

01:47But not sorry about that I have not seen the football.
