00:00I'm very pleased to announce that the NSW Government is delivering $70 million in additional

00:05funding towards the brand new, purpose-built, $330 million Level 4 hospital to support the

00:12needs of the entire Yirrba Dalla Shire, from Narooma all the way to Batemans Bay.

00:18With the main works contractor appointed to build the new hospital, the community will

00:22now start to see increased activity on the site, including heavy machinery in preparation

00:27for the start of main works construction in coming weeks.

00:31The new hospital will serve the South Coast region for generations to come, providing

00:36more health services than are currently available at both Moorooya and Batemans Bay hospitals

00:41combined.
