00:07but now we got something even bigger.

00:09This right here is the Odyssey Neo G9,

00:13which is 57 inches, two 32 inch monitors in one.

00:17This is taking things to a whole new level.

00:19Let's check it out.

00:23At 57 inches, this ultrawide monitor

00:25makes the 49 inch Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 seem tiny.

00:29In fact, the Odyssey Neo G9

00:31is effectively a larger version of the latter.

00:33That's not a problem considering how the Odyssey OLED G9

00:36is one of the best curved monitors we ever tested.

00:39I was impressed by the Odyssey Neo G9's

00:42immersive 1000R curved OLED display,

00:45sharp resolution, smooth refresh rate,

00:47and fast response time.

00:49I'll need more hands-on time to render a final verdict,

00:51but based on my experience,

00:52the Odyssey Neo G9 could be a stellar gaming monitor

00:55for those who have space on their gaming desk

00:57and who could afford it.

01:00At 57 inches wide, the Odyssey Neo G9

01:02is absolutely enormous, but that wide field of view

01:05provides for an immersive gaming experience.

01:07The V-shaped stand is wide,

01:08but its thin legs don't take up much space.

01:10If you like placing your gaming keyboard

01:12at an angle while gaming,

01:13the stand's legs shouldn't get in your way.

01:15Like the Odyssey OLED G9,

01:17the Odyssey Neo G9 has an all-silver chassis

01:20covering its back.

01:21There's also RGB lighting surrounding the monitor mount,

01:24and in case you're wondering,

01:25you can configure the RGB lighting to correspond

01:28with what's happening on display

01:29for that extra level of immersion.

01:33Not only is its 1000R curvature immersive,

01:35but images look bright and colorful

01:37at a sharp 7680 by 2160 resolution.

01:40I tested a range of titles with different visual styles.

01:43Fortnite, with its cartoonish art style and bold colors,

01:46looked phenomenal on the Odyssey Neo G9.

01:49Not only that, but the sharp resolution

01:51and 32 by 9 aspect ratio allowed me to see players

01:53who were trying to sneak up on me.

01:55Call of Duty Warzone's comparatively realistic graphics

01:58also look great on the monitor.

01:59Samsung says the monitor's quantum matrix technology

02:03with quantum mini LEDs creates controlled brightness

02:06and improved contrast for better definition.

02:08We'll need to get the Odyssey Neo G9 into our testing lab

02:11to confirm these claims, but to my eyes,

02:13the monitor delivers excellent image quality.

02:16Like the Odyssey OLED G9,

02:18the Odyssey Neo G9 allows for picture-in-picture

02:20from two different sources simultaneously.

02:22You'll be able to, for example,

02:25view a console game on one part of the display

02:27and a website on the other.

02:28The 240 hertz refresh rate helped make Fortnite,

02:31Call of Duty Warzone, and Need for Speed Unbound

02:33run buttery smooth.

02:35The Odyssey Neo G9 features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro,

02:38which serves to prevent screen tearing and stuttering.
