00:10China, causing flooding in the city of Wuzhou. Local authorities reported that at least 1,800
00:15people evacuated while another 47 people lost their lives in Guangdong province.
00:20In addition, 100 bridges, plantations and roads connecting rural areas have been damaged.
00:25Facing the onslaught of nature, the municipal authorities have redoubled their efforts with
00:30measures such as the involvement of the Maritime Affairs Department, the Red Cross and volunteer
00:34groups. Rescue teams have been using boats in the flooded areas searching for trapped people
00:39and moving them in groups to safety.
