00:11According to a United Nations report, Washington contributed $39.3 million to the emergency response in Chad in 2024,
00:21while so far this year it has only contributed about $6.8 million.
00:25On the other hand, the World Food Programme informed that a quarter of a million Sudanese have fled to Chad since the beginning of the civil war,
00:35along with millions of others who have traveled to six other countries,
00:40which the Food Agency claims they don't have the capacity to provide necessary humanitarian aid.
00:46Sudan has been described as facing the world's worst humanitarian crisis as a result of the civil war in the African nation
00:54since April 2023.
