00:00Yeah, we had a really good start and then, yeah, the wind and then we knew they were always going to come at us.

00:05It was a matter of holding them off and then the third quarter we probably could have run away with it.

00:08We missed a couple but credit to them, they kept coming up.

00:11They got some good players like the O'Briens and stuff like that.

00:14So they were really well to our side.

00:16So, yeah, it was just a wrap to get away with the win.

00:19And I thought, yeah, they got within seven points, was it?

00:21Yeah, I thought, yeah, we might be in a bit of trouble here but we just held on.

00:24Boise down back, nothing gets past them.

00:26So, yeah, it was a good win.

00:28It's all about a stoppage game for the Bulldogs.

00:31Very important.

00:32And that came into play just repeatedly today.

00:36You were able to stop Carl and Linton in their tracks when they looked at their most dangerous.

00:40And they're at their best when they've got their running game going.

00:43You guys were able to, you know, get the stoppages, repeat ball-ups, repeat throw-ins.

00:49And that was a key to stopping them in their tracks and then opening up the game for yourselves.

00:54Yeah, exactly. They're pretty young and quick and we're probably a bit older and a bit, like, more bulkier.

00:58So, yeah, that's sort of the plan, like, to slow their run down, which sort of worked well.

01:01And it sort of opened up a bit for us on the flip side anyway.

01:04So, yeah.

01:05Now, you've been here a few years now and you've seen the tough times.

01:09What's it like out there this year?

01:11I mean, an influx of recruits, a lot of experience.

01:15And as Coach Hamish Jarrod spoke about pre-season, bringing in football IQ.

01:22And I tell you what, it's, everything's just falling into place and you couldn't be,

01:27well, you couldn't hope to be in a better position at the halfway mark of the season.

01:30Yeah, I was hoping for maybe 3-5 or something like that, but I think we're 8-1 now.

01:35So, I never would have predicted that.

01:36But all the boys we brought in are good blokes.

01:38They've all, like, won flags and stuff.

01:40So, that's probably what we needed.

01:41And, yeah, we've actually got some depth in the twos as well, which we've never had.

01:44We usually just scrap for a two side.

01:46And as you see all the people in the rooms after, like, that never happens.

01:49So, it's really good, yeah.

01:50Really excited for the rest of the year as well.

01:52Yeah, so this win today particularly, I think it really sets you up there.

01:55We've got a couple more games before the break.

01:57A big run against Bungaree in a few weeks' time.

01:59And then the run home.

02:00So, it's really in your hands now, isn't it, for a really strong finish to the season.

02:06Yeah, exactly.

02:07We've got two more games and then two weeks off, a bit of recovery.

02:10And then we'll, yeah, go hard in the last five games.

02:12So, yeah, a bit of luck on our side.

02:14We won't have as many injuries as we did earlier.

02:15But, yeah, we're doing well.

02:17So, really happy.
