00:00If they were going to be any chance today, they had to start well and you didn't give

00:03them a chance early.

00:04No, that was our focus throughout the week to really start well.

00:09We come in like every other game, prepared really well, as I said we train really well

00:13during the week and I think our starts all year have been really good, albeit we've given

00:19opposition a few chances to kick scores and that they've missed, but the last few weeks

00:24especially we've started well and today was no exception.

00:28Was that the focus coming in though?

00:29You couldn't give them a chance early?

00:31Yeah, absolutely.

00:32Again, they've got quality players, they're really well coached, unfortunately for them

00:36they got a few injuries throughout the quarter which didn't help them for the rest of the

00:39game, but it was a focus and being at home sort of helps as well and we were lucky enough

00:46to win the toss and kick away with a win in the first quarter, but yeah it was a bit of

00:50a focus and we try and do a bit of a process rather than outcome and it starts with our

00:55first quarter.

00:57What do you do with this team now?

01:00This is a score that other teams will be putting on them, this isn't a 100-50 victory, this

01:05is something that you can really build on now for the second half of the year.

01:07Spot on, I think you're in the rooms there Greg, I said let's just embrace what we've

01:11done today, but more importantly work on it.

01:15We've got a huge challenge in two weeks' time in probably one of the best sides in the comp.

01:21And they'll be well rested because they've had a couple of weeks off.

01:24So we'll give ourselves every chance, we'll do that, but it's just great reward for our

01:29group really, our 19s, reserves and seniors who have welcomed me to the club since I've

01:36been here, welcomed our new coaching staff, our structure and put it into place today

01:40and we're lucky enough to put it all together.

01:42What's it mean to the club?

01:43I think they said in there it was 400 days since you've had a win.

01:46It's pretty special, you've got to celebrate them when they come.

01:49Yeah it is and you've got to.

01:51As I said, the guys have made everyone around the club really proud today, the way they've

01:55played and the way they've represented themselves.

01:57We've nearly got there a few times, but today is just reward for the effort they've put in

02:02and it's made a lot of old blokes and old ladies pretty happy, the ones that are putting

02:07in a lot around the club.

02:08Best players that you saw out there, I think you would have been happy with 12 goal kickers

02:11as well.

02:12Was there?

02:13Yeah, we didn't take them out.

02:14It's hard, I sort of watched the whole game, but I mean Bailey Thompson's continued his

02:18outstanding form, our midfield, probably got beaten at centre clearance a little bit.

02:21I thought Zampatti was really good in the ruck.

02:23Kyle Anderson just keeps getting better and better in my opinion down back and Halyar

02:28and Gove as well, so you can run through the whole list and I'm pretty happy with all of

02:32them at the moment.

02:33Did you give yourself a chance to relax a little bit in the second half?

02:35Not really.

02:36Maybe in that third quarter when you kicked those 8 or 9 goals.

02:39No, I'm pretty intense in the box.

02:41The boys, I grabbed a pen a couple of times and they had to calm me down, but I'm more

02:46relaxed now than what I've been for the last couple of weeks thinking about getting today

02:49out of the road, so I'm pretty happy.

02:50You said you've been for the last couple of months.
