00:00You would have enjoyed being out there today, getting a bit of a physical in that third quarter?

00:04Yeah, no, I really enjoyed getting out there today, obviously getting back with all the boys I've played with for a lot of years now,

00:10and we're quite a young team as well now, so it's good to see a few of the new boys coming through and really challenging.

00:16What did you make, what did you, I mean, tell me about your VFL season today, where have you been sort of going,

00:21and what sort of brought you back here today, to find a little bit of form, or what's sort of come back?

00:25Yeah, just, I've been playing down on the wing down at Port Malves, so something different than I have been,

00:30obviously, probably the whole time in the VFL, so yeah, just come back and just get a bit of a feel in the midfield,

00:36and run around, which was good, I really enjoyed it today.

00:39How are Port going, how's the sort of season progressing under Maka?

00:42Yeah, it's good, we've had a bit of a rough start, but we've knocked off a couple of teams in the top part of the ladder, top six,

00:48so yeah, we're progressing well week to week, so yeah.

00:52And tell me about your own fitness, mate, obviously, last year, that end of season injury was just a shock,

00:58and it probably ruined your guys' season, to be honest with you.

01:00How's the leg, and how's all your fitness going?

01:03Yeah, it was good, I got that fixed up and come back to that final, which I've had no worries with that,

01:07and then I had a shoulder operation in the off-season as well, so before going down to Melbourne,

01:13I wanted to get that fixed up and get that right, so I've had no issues with any of them.

01:17Yeah, and tell me about today's game, I mean, obviously it can be a little bit of a tricky one on the road,

01:21and the way the win was, but I thought your first quarter in particular, that really set up the win for you.

01:25Yeah, I thought it did, we outscored them into the wind, and really limited their scoreboard with the win,

01:30so I thought we set the game up really well, and in the third quarter as well,

01:34being able to bring the ball up the ground and hit the scoreboard was good.

01:37I thought your positioning particularly earlier, your defenders, you know, that ball was a little carrying over the back

01:41and things like that, your guys were just always in the right position,

01:43is that something that, you know, that you've worked specifically on over the last, you know, six, eight months?

01:48Yeah, I think so, I think all the young boys down there, just another year of senior foot in, which was good,

01:54and I thought all the boys down back played pretty well today.

01:57I had a few new young boys down there, but they really went well down there today.
