Okay then Charlie, can you tell me a bit about the Travel Tracker initiative here at the
00:21
school?
00:22
Um, Travel Tracker is all about walking to school or trying to like scooter or bike so
00:29
the gas doesn't hurt the planet more and you also have more habitats for the animals.
00:34
And Rosa, how have you been coming to school then?
00:36
Um, I've been walking and stuff.
00:38
Why is it important we look for alternatives to coming in cars?
00:41
Why is that important?
00:42
Because it's not, it's good for your mental and physical health and it's not very good
00:46
for the wildlife and the climate change.
00:50
Okay, I understand you've also been creating a school orchard, you've been creating flower
00:54
beds, planting vegetables, that sort of thing in the school garden.
00:57
Why is that important do you think?
00:59
Why is it important that we plant trees, we plant vegetables, we plant flowers?
01:02
Why is that important Charlie?
01:04
It's because, um, so we've got more food for the school for plants and we've got more oxygen
01:11
for the people.
01:14
And as well as people, what else is it going to help?
01:18
What do you think Rosa, what's it going to help?
01:20
The animals and bees and birds.
01:24
And what sort of things did you plant?
01:26
Carrots and turnips and pumpkins.
01:29
What about you Charlie?
01:31
We are planting carrots, but we've been planting trees and flowers, turnips.
01:36
And was it lots of fun?
01:37
Yes.
