The West Midlands is facing significant challenges with crime, according to a new study by Churchill Support Services. The region has an overall crime rate of 95.1 offences per 1000 people, ranking it as the fifth worst area in the UK.

00:35 with a rate of 143.3 per 1,000 residents. Major hotspots include Brownhills, registering
00:43 the highest crime rate in the region at 151.5 offences per 1,000 people. While theft and
00:51 violent crimes dominate, there's a silver lining. Overall crime in the West Midlands
00:56 has decreased by 3% over the past year.
