00:00And that guy for me has to be Colin Morikawa because he has been so good since the Masters.

00:09He's got, of course, a couple of top fives in both the majors this year.

00:12He has been right there at Memorial last week.

00:15It feels like Colin Morikawa is so close to finally knocking Scottie aside and taking

00:20one from him.

00:22It's easy to go and say, starting at the Masters, he goes third, ninth, sixteenth, fourth, fourth,

00:27second.

00:28But what's important for me is what he's been doing in order to come up with those finishes

00:32and to play so well.

00:34He's gaining on average nine strokes against the field total over his last five starts.

00:39So he's played great, yes.

00:40But when you break it down, he's gaining over two and a half strokes around the green and

00:45another two strokes with the putter.

00:47These aren't things that he did when he was winning major championships.

00:49He has really worked on that part of his game, and it's going to be a huge asset this week.

00:54You put that with his accuracy off the tee and his ability to hit irons like he can at

00:58a world class level.

01:00He is the in my mind, he is the number one contender to Scottie and at the Masters.

01:05He measured himself against Scottie and he lost.

01:08And then, of course, last week, he measured himself again.

01:10But guess what?

01:11He was a little closer carver.

01:13You saw it.

01:14We had him on our card and he had a chance with three holes to go, four holes to go.

01:18Colin was there.

01:20He's one step closer, which you know what that means.

01:22This week, he can take him down and hey, like Valhalla, he just couldn't putt on Sunday.

01:28I mean, he was there at Valhalla as well, and he just couldn't he just couldn't make

01:32any of those birdie putts from 10 to 15 feet.

01:36They just weren't falling for him.

01:37Par, par, par, par, par all day long and he couldn't get done.
