00:00For the players that aren't coming with us, that's a devastating blow and I mean

00:05they've all been amazing with how they've dealt with it.

00:12The fact is we've got some players who have been playing extremely well all

00:17season in the league and we just feel other players have had stronger seasons

00:24particularly in the last six months or so. Probably two of my best mates in the

00:28squad, I've probably spent most of my time with them since I've been here, so obviously

00:32seeing them go is, you know, it's not a nice feeling.

00:34Both of the boys are big characters, fabulous teammates, great boys to work

00:40with, so yeah, sad to have to deliver that news to them. Harry has made some progress but

00:48you know that's been complicated and we definitely wouldn't have had him in the

00:52group stages. There was too many hurdles to get through without really being

00:58clear of where we might get to, you know, how I feel about Harry Maguire and what

01:02he's done for England and what he's done for me as a manager. I think it's a bit

01:07early for Jared. I think for him to be in ahead of the others, I don't think that

01:12would have been the right call at this stage. Jarel Kwanza has stayed with us.

01:15I think he's not had the experience of an England international at

01:21Wembley, so I think that would be great for him to be with us for the game.

01:25I think we've seen the last camp against Belgium and Brazil, what Kobe could do

01:29obviously the last six months, all season really, what he's done at Man United

01:34fully deserves his place in the squad. I think in training he's impressed a

01:39lot of players, so composed and calm on the ball. To be on the plane, to go to his

01:44first European Championship, what a moment for him and his family and I know he's

01:48one who won't take it for granted, you know, he'll be ready when called upon.

01:51We think he could have some involvement in the second group game. I think you can

01:55take one gamble and that's the gamble that we've got enough evidence to believe

02:01can pay off. The squad we've wanted is the one we've picked because we think it's the

02:05best equipped in this moment in time and I think the decision on picking a squad

02:11is always a moment in time.
