02:09Major Jesse Domingo replaced De Mayo as the new Bamban police chief.

02:14The same number of replacement police are deployed to Bamban.

02:17The preventive suspension of Bamban Mayor Alice Guo was announced Monday, June 3 by

02:22the Office of the Ombudsman.

02:24Also suspended are Bamban's Business Permit and Licensing Officer Edwin Ocampo and Municipal

02:29Legal Officer Aden Siguia.

02:33The Canlaon City Government on Negros Island starts mandatory evacuations Tuesday, June

02:384, the morning after the eruption of Canlaon Volcano.

02:42All residents within three meters of the river downstream are told to evacuate immediately.

02:48All non-essential businesses within a four-kilometer radius are also told to close down.

02:53Tourism sites within a two to six-kilometer radius are also closed to the public.

02:58Essential services such as hospitals, pharmacies, and utility providers are still allowed to

03:03operate.

03:04Canlaon Volcano appears to have calmed down, but the government warrants of the risk of

03:08flash floods, mudflows, and potential lahar due to the eruption.

03:13The eruption of Canlaon on Monday, June 3 disrupted air travel, with flight cancellations
