On Monday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) attended a campaign event for Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) and slammed Dr. Anthony Fauci.

00:00 [applause]
00:15 It is my pleasure to enthusiastically endorse a champion of liberty, the chairman of the
00:24 Freedom Caucus, a great constitutional conservative, Bob Goode.
00:31 [applause]
00:37 And I don't want to get into a contest with him, I guess he's married 36 years, I'm just
00:42 on my 34th year, but I'm so happy to have my wife, Kelly, with me.
00:47 [applause]
00:53 So a lot of you know what our routine is like.
00:56 A lot of us are home during the weekends, we fly up.
00:59 Do you fly or do you drive from here?
01:02 Most of us have to fly, we fly the other way.
01:04 Fly up at the beginning of the week, come back towards the end of the week, and we're
01:09 always glad to get home.
01:11 And sometimes people are frustrated, they want us to do more of this.
01:14 It's like, "Why aren't you doing this?
01:15 Why aren't you doing that?
01:16 You say this, but why don't you do something?"
01:19 So I get home and I figure at least my wife will understand me, right?
01:24 So I get home at the end of the week and I expect her to be at the front door with either
01:29 slippers or a hug and a kiss.
01:32 You know what she says to me when I come in?
01:34 "How come Anthony Fauci's not in jail?"
01:37 [applause]
01:57 They had him today before for many.
01:59 I saw a little snippet of it before it got on the plane.
02:02 And his lips were moving so you know he's lying.
02:07 Interesting though, these people don't mess with me.
02:10 He had a five minute opening statement.
02:12 He spent the first couple minutes disavowing his aide of 20 years.
02:17 He barely knows him, barely remembers his name.
02:21 He says he didn't report to me.
02:22 There was probably, I can't remember who, but there's probably somebody between me and him.
02:26 Could he come into your office when he wanted?
02:28 Oh no.
02:29 Did he?
02:30 No, he was not in my inner circle.
02:32 He did not come to me.
02:33 Everything to disavow this guy because what's this guy admitted to doing?
02:37 Destroying evidence.
02:39 What did he say in his emails?
02:41 Anthony Fauci was also destroying evidence.
02:44 How'd they learn how to destroy evidence?
02:46 Well they pointed to the IT woman, the FOIA lady, the person who works for the government
02:52 who's supposed to be instructing them on turning over information so we can see it, so Congress
02:57 can see it.
02:58 And he's teaching them how to destroy the evidence.
03:01 Somebody needs to go to jail.
03:03 [Applause]
03:10 The problem is I think there's two tiers of justice now.
03:14 [Laughter]
03:16 There was a time in our country, and it was not a good time, when people were not treated fairly
03:21 in this country based on the color of their skin.
03:24 When people didn't have equal protection, people went to court, and because of the color
03:28 of their skin I don't think they were treated fairly.
03:30 It's not as much now though, the color of your skin, as it is the shade of your ideology.
03:36 [Laughter]
03:38 I worry if you pray to God, if you teach your kids at home, if you're pro-life, somebody
03:45 protests in front of Planned Parenthood, they get 20 years.
03:48 Somebody destroys the pregnancy center up here, what do they get?
03:51 It's not the same justice that's going around.
03:54 It's going to lead to further and further unhappiness.
03:58 You may remember this lady, what's her name, Hillary?
04:01 [Laughter]
04:03 So she paid $8 million to her lawyers to give to a Russian spy to get a made up dossier
04:11 called the Steele dossier, which then was leaked illegally through the FISA court.
04:15 They take the FISA court, $60 million later they don't find any evidence linking Trump
04:20 to the Russians.
04:21 It was a legal expense.
04:22 It was, how was it filed?
04:24 B.B. to the punchline, how was it filed?
04:27 As a legal expense.
04:29 How was she punished?
04:31 $8,000 fine, no prosecution.
04:34 It's a double standard, but it's driving this country apart.
04:38 But I think if they put him in jail on July 11th, it'll be a landslide election, he'll
04:44 win in the landslide.
04:45 [Applause]
