00:00I can tell you that that would be probably at the direction of the speaker, but the last
00:12individual that was detained for basically violating Congress's authorities was actually
00:17put up at a very nice hotel.
00:19I would hope that Garland would actually present himself and not make us do this.
00:25But again, you're seeing that Garland is willingly breaking the law.
00:28And that is extremely disturbing, being that he's supposed to be head of all law enforcement
00:31in this country.
00:32Any other questions?
00:33Is there any concern about setting a precedent where Democrats could use this down the road
00:34if a Republican does not comply with the subpoena?
00:42As you heard, I stated earlier that Democrats actually apparently did try to do this.
00:47And upon my research, the reason why I don't believe that they wanted to is because, again,
00:52you open up the hearing to discovery.
00:55And I don't believe that they wanted their targets to be able to make a valid argument
01:00to the American people.
01:01You see, it's a lot easier with a two-tier justice system to have the DOJ do your dirty
01:06work and say, look, I didn't do it.
01:08But the fact is, is that the DOJ is at direction of this administration.
01:12And it is extremely alarming that we have an administration that is picking and choosing
01:16who they are going to allow to get a free pass, that there is no equal justice in this
01:21country.
01:22And that's exactly why we're all putting our names, our honor on this, is because we
01:26believe that we are in a scary time in our country, and that if we allow this to continue,
01:30that we won't have a free and fair country.
01:32Yeah, of course.
01:33I think it would be refreshing if the Democrats and the White House would choose to follow
01:38the Constitution.
01:39Can I say something?
01:40Yeah, of course.
01:41Are you asking us if we're concerned that the Democrat Party will politicize Congress
01:46to the point where they start doing things like impeaching sitting presidents?
01:51Is that what you're asking?
01:52Or, you know, we've had Republicans not comply with the January 6th committee's subpoenas,
01:57and could they use this down the road?
01:59Are they in jail?
02:00Yeah, they're in jail.
02:01I think they're in jail.
02:02So are you suggesting the Attorney General should be in jail?
02:03Because that's what it sounds like.
02:04Listen, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
02:07So the Democrat Party under Nancy Pelosi politicized this body to the point where it's destructive
02:13to the fabric of our nation.
02:15And it is time for a reckoning.
02:18This has got to stop.
02:19The only way that this is going to stop is if the President of the United States reads
02:23this.
02:24This says, Joe, read this, the Congress.
02:27This is the Constitution of the United States of America.
02:31So this has to be adhered to.
02:32This is the law of the land.
02:34Is that clear?
02:36Now do your jobs, people, for Pete's sakes.
02:39Any other questions before we wrap it up?
02:41Because we've got to get to conference.
02:44Thank you all for being here.
02:45Again, Garland still has time to comply with our requests.
02:48Bring us the tapes.
02:50We want to see it.
02:51We want to hear it.
02:52And if you don't, the vote will be called up, and we will hold you in inherent contempt.
02:55The vote will come to the floor.
02:57I encourage you all, though, to ask the White House what, indeed, they're hiding.
03:00What is Garland hiding?
03:02And thank you so much for covering this today.
03:03Thanks, guys.
