00:00 I didn't think a tornado was gonna hit, I never do.
00:03 And I know one of my friends, she hates storms, so I wanted to make sure she was okay.
00:08 And her husband, her fiance, said, I'm coming to get you.
00:13 And that's when I knew it was probably bad.
00:15 I grabbed my baby, wrapped her in a blanket, and we took off running, and
00:20 ended up at his house.
00:21 He threw us in the basement.
00:23 We were watching the radar news thing that my friend Bailey had,
00:29 and I could see it coming, and then I felt the pressure change.
00:33 And that's when I covered her son.
00:36 And her fiance said, get down.
00:39 So we all huddled together and we all covered the kids.
00:42 This is the only time I have ever prayed in my life.
00:46 And I didn't even get the words, dear Lord, out before it was over.
00:52 One of their staircases fell on me, and
00:54 I was covering so it didn't hit any of the kids or anyone.
00:58 And I was more concerned about getting everyone out so
01:01 we could get up to the hospital.
01:03 Because my daughter was bleeding a little bit, and
01:05 I was more concerned about that than anything.
01:08 >> Well, the last thing I hear is, our daughter has been hit,
01:11 we're going to the hospital.
01:12 I don't know what the hell's going on.
01:14 Not in a good spot to communicate either, so not much I can do except drive.
01:20 Called the boss, said I'm going home, town's been hit.
01:23 This is everything I've ever had, years.
01:27 But at the end of the day, as long as they're okay, it's garbage.
01:32 And it doesn't matter at the end of the day.
01:34 Not that it's not upsetting, but I'll get over it.
01:38 They make more.
01:40 It'll make more of them, so.
