00:00 I fought but I was pushed back.
00:02 I fought but I was pushed back.
00:05 We said earlier in Dagaw,
00:10 we are proud of these guys
00:14 who fought until the end.
00:19 But it's really just the end, that's what we're saying.
00:22 We had a lot of take-aways this time.
00:28 So the history that we want to rewrite
00:32 is not what we want to happen.
00:36 It's different.
00:38 The story is different.
00:40 So, we just want to say
00:43 that we are not proud of ourselves.
00:46 We are proud of our players,
00:48 especially Zahita, in absence of Poyos.
00:51 We saw that she can do it.
00:54 She wants to play but we won't let her.
00:57 At least, she's just that good.
00:59 To Deddet, for his leadership,
01:04 that he was able to bring his team here.
01:06 To our best setter, to Cassie, regardless,
01:10 the height of our players is that
01:12 they rise when they lose.
01:14 So, I want to say thank you to our team.
01:16 We learned a lot.
01:23 Especially this season, regardless.
01:26 As long as you're leading,
01:28 it's important how strong your heart is,
01:31 how decisive you are,
01:33 how brave you want to be.
01:36 I think, we have a result that will happen.
01:39 Aside from the ROTY,
01:42 what did you bring to the U.S.C.
01:44 and fight regardless of injury
01:46 or whatever problem you faced this season?
01:49 I'm really proud of Deddet.
01:53 It's her first season here in the Olympics.
01:56 Even though we didn't win the champion,
02:00 for sure, next year,
02:03 we'll do our best to win the gold medal.
02:08 Because we're still young.
02:10 And we still have a lot of experiences
02:14 to share with the next generation.
02:16 So, we'll just use this as an inspiration.
02:20 Why did you choose to play in the Olympics?
02:26 I'm a good runner.
02:29 It was my first time to jump.
02:33 I can do it, but I did my best.
02:37 And I finished.
02:39 A follow-up from Don,
02:41 a few days after Game 1,
02:43 A.R. said that
02:46 the same thing will happen in 2019.
02:49 Did you get a chance to talk to A.R.
02:51 before or after the game?
02:53 Actually, he talked to me earlier
02:55 before the game.
02:57 He told me to fight
02:59 and not to think about the injury.
03:03 That's what he told me.
03:05 What did you say earlier?
03:08 I think my mindset is
03:10 to just play our game.
03:13 The game is for me and the U.S.T. community
03:17 that are still fighting
03:19 even if it's a late afternoon in school.
03:21 We just gave our best.
03:25 Even if you got injured,
03:28 you still had a chance to play.
03:30 What can you say to your teammates,
03:33 coaches, and the community?
03:36 First of all,
03:38 I'm grateful that we made it to the Olympics.
03:42 I'm so grateful to the coaches
03:44 because they gave me confidence.
03:47 I tried my best,
03:50 but I wasn't able to do it.
03:54 We still have a long way to go
03:57 to make our career a success.
04:00 Is the U.S.T. a better team?
04:03 I think we're still lacking.
04:07 But we're here.
04:10 The coaches said
04:12 that next time,
04:14 we'll be able to feel this way.
04:18 Of course, we're proud of each and every one of us.
04:22 The coaches,
04:24 my teammates.
04:26 We're only halfway there,
04:29 but we're still proud.
04:31 Cassie, same question for you.
04:33 What are your thoughts after this
04:35 unexpected run to the finals,
04:37 and the silver medal?
04:39 I'm so grateful for this experience.
04:43 Even though we were young,
04:47 we really tried our best.
04:49 But we still ended up in the finals.
04:52 Hopefully, next year,
04:54 we won't let this happen again.
04:58 I also want to thank Dettol
05:02 because
05:06 we never felt like we left this.
05:09 Even though we scored.
05:11 [Clapping]
05:12 [Bang]
05:13 Good enough.
05:14 [Bang]
05:16 [Bell Rings]
05:17 [Bell Rings]
