Your Wednesday travel forecast across the country

If you have travel plans anywhere in the U.S. on May 15, AccuWeather's Melissa Constanzer has just the forecast for you.

00:00As we talk about your Wednesday setup here across the nation, we've got two

00:04storm systems. We're keeping an eye on some, producing some of that showery

00:08weather across the north-central tier of the nation, the other creating the mess

00:11farther to the east. So we've got showers, thunderstorms still firing up

00:15here and that's going to mean the wet weather towards Raleigh and some of

00:19those locations. So expect travel delays places like Pittsburgh with the showers

00:24and thunderstorms. We'll also see Bismarck, North Dakota starting off the

00:27morning with a few showers and then all of that activity slides a little part

00:31of east through the state of North Dakota. Flight cancellations, they're up

00:35there for your Thursday, more than 250 of them. So that's going to be the

00:40challenges due to severe thunderstorms that are erupting to the south.
