From Utah to Pennsylvania, AccuWeather's Melissa Constanzer breaks down how the forecast might affect your skiing or snowboarding plans this week.

00:01 hit the ski trails or the slopes.

00:03 I guess you could say depending

00:04 on where you are,

00:05 maybe you're doing a little cross

00:07 country skiing or maybe you're

00:08 doing some downhill camelback.

00:09 Could be a good spot because we are

00:11 looking at the snow getting set to

00:12 come in and I think we're going

00:14 to do well here in Camelback.

00:15 We do have the snow coming down

00:17 Tuesday and it's a few inches,

00:18 a bit of snow in the morning and then

00:20 we start to see things taper down.

00:22 So if you can get there,

00:23 shouldn't be a bad trend for you.

00:25 And of course we do have more snow

00:26 potential later in the week with that one.

00:28 Hunter Mountain also in a pretty good

00:30 spot with this storm system as they'll

00:31 pick up on three to six inches of snow.

00:34 A lot of that lasting through about lunchtime.

00:36 Then we start to see the numbers go

00:37 back up as we get rid of the precipitation,

00:40 so there will be some changes

00:41 in that forecast to White Pass.

00:43 Thought I'd show you this because hey,

00:45 maybe you're in the northwest

00:46 doing a little bit of skiing Wednesday.

00:48 The day that we could actually get some snow.

00:50 So if you want to have some drier weather

00:52 while you're out and about Tuesday tomorrow,

00:54 good chance to get out and maybe do a

00:56 little Mardi Gras celebrating on the slopes too.

00:59 And of course we still have a lot of

01:01 fun in places like Sundance going on here.

01:03 It does look like temperatures

01:05 are staying in the 40s.

01:06 Fairly mild.

01:07 We're gonna get in some rain,

01:09 snow showers by Thursday,

01:10 so if you want more of that bluebird skiing,

01:12 try to do it on Tuesday.

01:14 That's where we get that sunshine

01:16 breaking out and at least a

01:18 better view of things here.
