Putin Seeks Russian Weapons "One Step Ahead Of West", Ukraine Claims "Record-Distance" Drone Strike

Ukrainian intelligence claims its drones struck two oil depots in Russia causing large-scale fires on May 9. A Ukrainian source told Reuters that the oil depots were used as transportation hubs to supply troops in the nearby occupied peninsula of Crimea. Ukraine's SBU security service reportedly carried out a record-distance drone strike on a Russian oil refinery located nearly 1,200 km from the border. Russia’s Foreign Ministry specified that Moscow did not send invitations to the Victory Day parade to ambassadors and officials of unfriendly countries. "To be successful, we need to be one step ahead in high technology," Putin said about Russia’s fight in the Ukraine battlefield. Putin also admitted that Russia manages to obtain dual-use technology which can also be used for combat operations.
