The first shipment of US weapons arrived in Israel on Tuesday according to the Israeli Defense Forces. US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said President Biden has authorized the shipment of ammunition for Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system and that US planes will be landing in Israel with additional capabilities in the coming days. Boeing is speeding up the delivery of 1,000 smart bombs that were part of a 2021 contract between Boeing and the Israeli military. President Biden pledged continuing support for Israel and condemned Hamas terrorism and said there is "no justification" and "no excuse" for it.
