00:08 They say that the effect of Fermin's statement against their family is bad.

00:22 We've been off social media, partly because of this.

00:26 This is the statement of Sharon Cuneta while crying after she filed.

00:32 Even her husband, former Senator Francis Pangilinan,

00:35 filed a cyber-libel complaint against the columnist and host, Christy Fermin.

00:41 It was said that Fermin's statements on his online show and columns

00:48 had a bad effect on the husband and their children.

00:52 Yes, we are public figures, but we also have rights.

00:56 Because many people say that if you're a public figure,

00:59 you should be able to tolerate lies and corruption.

01:04 But that's not the case.

01:05 In fact, we also have private rights,

01:09 especially when the matter is not of public interest,

01:13 meaning it's a personal issue, personal family matters and concerns.

01:20 Megastar is also angry that she felt bad for filing a complaint against her alleged friend.

01:56 She also added that the malicious and outrageous statement

02:02 came out within four decades that she endured.

02:06 But when she saw that her loved ones were being hurt,

02:10 she decided to file a complaint.

02:13 I took care of my name for four to six years.

02:18 My parents were good to me.

02:21 And most of all, my three children said that I was a good mother.

02:27 So it hurts me so much.

02:30 According to Fermin in her YouTube show, "Kristi per Minute" earlier,

02:35 don't shoot the messenger.

02:38 These cases are included in her work

02:41 and she understands where the complaint comes from.

02:45 But she can't accept the complaint

02:49 because her copy hasn't reached her yet.
