It's like we're at the beach, isn't it?
00:04
Do you feel a bit like you're walking on a square?
00:07
It's like we're testing the flow of the theatre because I always think it's a square.
00:11
What is this?
00:14
A screw.
00:16
Which way are you going?
00:18
That way.
00:20
Okay.
00:22
I, um...
00:24
I can't.
00:27
Okay, Mrs Weiner, I'm going to start by asking what a difference
00:30
the team have made to this area of the place.
00:32
Oh, they've made a huge difference.
00:34
The impact that we've had on the children's education has just been phenomenal.
00:38
The makeover that they've done on the area is absolutely fantastic.
00:41
It's made a huge impact, huge difference,
00:43
and the children absolutely love coming out here to play.
00:46
In terms of the company, Stuart, why were they so keen to get involved in this project?
00:49
ASC's been in Sunderland for over ten years now.
00:52
We run the battery plants in Washington,
00:55
and our workforce have grown up in Sunderland,
00:58
they live in Sunderland, and in many cases went to school in Sunderland,
01:01
so it's fantastic for us to be able to put something back into our local schools,
01:05
and particularly schools on our doorstep.
01:08
We get as much out of the work that we've done here this week
01:11
as it's lovely to hear the headteacher speaking about what we've done
01:15
and the difference we make, but it's just as rewarding for our guys
01:18
to make a difference and to see the smiles on the kids' faces.
01:22
How grateful are the school for the work that's been done?
01:25
So thankful, really, really grateful.
01:28
I can't thank you enough. The children have done some cards for the team,
01:31
and we've baked some cakes for the team this morning,
01:34
so they're really excited to hand them out.
01:37
We've got you some cakes and drinks the children would like to hand out this morning,
01:40
so would you like to give that to one of the members of the team?
01:43
Thank you, sweetheart.
01:48
Do you want to come over to the children? I've got some cakes for you over here.
01:53
Thanks very much.
01:55
What do we need to say, everyone?
01:57
Thank you!
02:17
Thank you.
