Returning Rooster Spencer Leniu to make up for lost time

00:00He served his time, we've spoken about it before, like he's sorry for what happened.

00:06But yeah, it's good for him to be back in here and

00:09now sort of focused on playing footy.

00:11And have you got around to move to a- Yeah, yeah, yeah, we've spoken about it.

00:17Yeah, when we talked last time, he said the wrong thing and

00:21it was disappointing but that's all right now.

00:24So everyone's moved past it and now he's getting ready to play footy.

00:29How's his headspace, Tom?

00:31Yeah, good.

00:31Yeah, it's good.

00:32Yeah, I mean, probably not good when he was sort of a month in and

00:37getting flogged every day cuz he pretty much had to go back and

00:40do another sort of eight week preseason.

00:42So that's always tough, but I think he's excited to play.

00:47Suspension's a part of the game, do you think he feels he owes the club?

00:50He's new to the club, he's only played one game and been out for eight weeks at all.

00:54I'm not sure, yeah, probably that's a question for him.

00:58So I haven't got that deep in it with him, but yeah, I think he just wants to get

01:03back out there and play footy again and probably make up for that lost time.

01:10Yeah, no, he's been good.

01:10He's just been going about his own little work and the shadow's there and

01:15now he gets to come back out and play with us.

01:18So I think having him back on our team is gonna be special.

01:22He's just a powerful ball and he brings a lot of energy to this team.

01:25So yeah, we're looking forward to having Spence back.
